Brinky Desai is a doctoral candidate at the School of Arts and Sciences. Her doctoral research focuses on understanding the ecological adaptation of Mugger Crocodile populations across three geographically diverse habitats within the state of Gujarat. Crocodilians are called survivors from the dinosaur era - the reason she wants to analyse different aspects of their adaptation strategy further. She has worked on various projects on Muggers in Gujarat since 2015 and aspires to understand more about their adaptation through her PhD project.
