The year 2023 marks the halfway point in Agenda 2030, an ambitious set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) meant to transform our world and pave the way for a brighter future for all. This lecture provides an overview of the SDGs and discusses the role of behavioural science in achieving the Global Goals. Professor Foster will begin by offering some historical context for the SDGs. The role of behavioural change and behavioural science will then be explored.
