Blue Carbon Workshop
The workshop is on "Blue Carbon Sequestration Initiatives India and UK" scheduled on January 24-25, 2024 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm at Ahmedabad University, Gujarat, India.
This is part of a global ocean decade programme for blue carbon. The team will include faculty members and researchers from both these organisations. The workshop's aim is to highlight the critical role of the blue carbon ecosystems by identifying priorities, knowledge gaps, and initiatives of India and the UK. The workshop objective is to focus on the science-policy–society interface to enhance global to regional collaborative efforts for capacity building in blue carbon science and touch upon potential recommendations for going forward.
