School of Computer Studies organized a ‘Workshop on Microsoft Excel’ for women’s of Self Employed Women’s Association - SEWA on 30th March 2017. The objective behind this workshop was to groom the women in the area of computing and educate them with basics of Microsoft Excel. It also aimed to assist the women of SEWA to perform Data Analysis for their ‘Samuthan’ project that is related to health data survey. Prof Heena Timani from SCS is also involved in this project. Topics covering fundamentals concepts of excel such as, creation of excel sheet with inclusion of font, alignment, number, styles, cells and clipboard functions were taught. The women’s were satisfied with hands on experience over covered topics. With kind support of Associate Dean, Prof. Bipin Mehta, workshop was successfully completed under the ACM Ahmedabad chapter. The workshop was coordinated by members of SCS ACM Chapter.
