His work has a strong orientation toward experiencing a radical form of proximity. He creates intimate art to explore the conditions of being near or close by. He has created work on grief, sleep, happiness, and several other ephemeral grounds of knowledge. He is a profound artist whose performance is presented to vivid art appreciating interdisciplinary audiences. He not only thinks but also challenges his spectators and pupils to think unconventionally. He has given various other lectures and talks like “Talk at Serendipity Arts Foundation”, “Talk at Apparao Galleries”, “Talk at Prameya Art Foundation”, “Talk about ‘Rehearsing Dystopia’”, “Talk at Presidency College & Jadavpur University, Kolkata”, and “Talk on Wet Futures at Indent Festival”.
His upcoming talk at Ahmedabad University is called “Against Theatre: Creative Disruptions Beyond Stage”. The adroit artist will be giving his valuable insights on how theatre is beyond the stage and extends to our society as a whole. He will also be sharing his practices as an artist with the audience and will reflect on his recent works. His works are widely appreciated and shown internationally at festivals and in theatres, galleries, public spaces, and on the internet. Focusing on the main purpose of the series, Mr Grover will be spreading awareness about performing arts and also his ways of execution of the same. We are eagerly looking forward to having this prolific artist at Ahmedabad University and being enlightened by his talk.
