Invitation to Present at UNESCO Asia Pacific Award, 2019

Sukrit Sen’s—second-year student of the Heritage Management Programme—project “Food for Heritage- Case: Bara Handi of Ahmedabad” has been selected as one of the nine projects to be presented at the “Asia-Pacific Heritage 20/20 Forum” scheduled to be held on 14 Oct 2019 in Penang, Malaysia as a part of the UNESCO Asia Pacific Awards, 2019.

He also was adjudged the first position in “College ke Tashanbaz” an intrastate college-level talent hunt competition organised by RedFm.

Invitation to Present the Project at the Budapest Water Summit 2019

Sukrit Sen got selected to attend and present his project on music around water at the Budapest Water Summit 2019 in Hungary in October and the Geneva Peace Week in Switzerland in November.

His paper on “Rejuvenation of Cultural Heritage through Festivals: The Case of Durga Puja, Kolkata” has been accepted for presentation at the Pagdiriwang: Festivals as Heritage (International Conference on Folklore), to be held at the University of the Philippines (UP) Quezon City, the Philippines on December 11-12, 2019.
