Professor Neel Kamal Chapagain presented a draft set of programmes level academic learning outcomes for Masters level education on Cultural Heritage Management at a meeting of Asian Academy for Heritage Management, hosted by the University of Hong Kong, with support from UNESCO Bangkok and Southeast University, China. The learning outcomes were based on a competency framework for cultural heritage management that was drafted by UNESCO Bangkok with involvement of faculty from universities across Asia pacific region to facilitate mobility of students and professionals, as well as to enhance the quality of higher education for cultural heritage management. Ahmedabad University has been part of the experts and networking meetings that UNESCO Bangkok organised in the past two years, which contributed in drafting the competency framework.
