Bhushan Kankal has eleven years of experience in Energy and Environment Impact and has worked across the domain including Agriculture, Energy Efficiency, GHG Emission Inventory and Carbon Capture and Storage. Bhushan has done MTech (Environmental Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He has several publications on GHG emission inventory, Agriculture-Water-energy nexus, High Impact Opportunities of Energy Efficiency, Carbon Capture and Storage and has contributed to the National Communication and Biennial Update Reports of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
He began his career with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, as Research Associate and has been actively involved with various national and international projects related to energy, environment and climate change mitigation. Association with projects with the MoEF&CC, Indian Council of Agriculture Research, Bureau of Energy Efficiency and inventory reporting software for IPCC have strengthened and updated his understanding in his field. Bhushan will be responsible for providing scientific and technical support for work program of IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Cycle.Back
