The Amrut Mody School of Management offers a three-year undergraduate degree in commerce with final-year specialisations in three tracks: law; taxation; and banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI). Students choose electives in their areas of specialisation from a wide array of open courses offered by other programmes at the Management school, other schools at Ahmedabad University, and at other universities.
The BCom programme evolves constantly as the school updates its syllabus to include learning related to current business trends. We emphasise interactive pedagogy for classroom learning, as well as project-based curricula. The programme focuses on linking classroom knowledge with extra-mural application by supporting regular internships and industrial visits over the course.
The BCom programme has an MoU with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), U.K. which facilitates the pursuit of a global qualification, ACCA, along with the BCom degree. On this track, students gain the privilege of an exemption benefit in 6 out of 14 papers required for ACCA certification.
