Kunal Mankodi is a faculty member in the area of Management and Organizations with teaching interest in the area of strategic management. He holds a PhD in management with his dissertation on ‘Assessment of Enablers and Inhibitors of Collaboration in SMEs in Pharmaceutical Clusters in Gujarat’ where he studied factors that impact collaboration decision by pharmaceutical SMEs in Gujarat. He holds a Masters in Business Administration with Marketing specialization.
Currently, Kunal is the faculty chair of the Career Development Centre at Ahmedabad University. Prior to this, he chaired the admissions committee of the graduate programmes of the management school.
He has published research papers and presented papers at reputed national and international conferences.
His research interest areas include Business Clusters, SME competitiveness, and Platform-based business models.

Kunal has a teaching experience of more than 11 years. He teaches courses on Business Strategy at both - the Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate programmes. He also teaches strategy area electives on Strategies for Firms in Emerging Markets, Corporate Strategy, Advanced Business Strategy. He has also taught a course on Fundamentals of Management in the Masters for Heritage Management programme.
He has taught Competitive Strategy in Executive Management Program for JMC Projects Ltd. (One year program) - an Organization Based Program, catering specifically to the need of the organization with specific inputs on the construction industry.
