As a full time faculty with the BBA Programme at Amrut Mody School Of Management, he teaches the subjects Marketing Management and Strategic Management. He is also versatile in engaging students in specialization subjects of Marketing, like Consumer Behaviour and Modeling Service Quality.

With 13 years of experience (6 years with corporates and 7 years in academics and research) he brings to the table a rich combination of theory and practice. His small stint with the industry was with MNCs of Citibank and ABN AMRO Bank stature. Plus his experience of working with Saud Bahwan Group, Muscat provides him with the specialized knowledge of working with professional organizations and vulnerable product lines. As an academician he has taught at various MBA programmes in Ahmedabad like BK School of Management (GU), and has been engaged as a visiting faculty to a diverse blend of Post-Graduate Institutes of Management.

He is a PhD from Maharaja Krishankumarsinhji Bhavnagar University on the Topic “Self-Service Technologies: Examining Consumer Behaviour in the Banking Sector.”

His research interests include consumer behaviour and service quality. Till now he has published two articles in peer reviewed journals of repute, has participated and presented three papers in conferences, and attended three Faculty Development Programs.

He has cleared various certification examinations such as AMFI, IRDA for his professional requirements and for academic requirements he has clear UGC NET examination.

He has won various contests and awards throughout his academic and professional career.

Currently he is serving as the Programme Chair of the BBA Programme of Amrut Mody School of Management at Ahmedabad University. 

Research interests include consumer behaviour towards services and service quality.

Co-authored and presented a paper titled ‘Validating International Service Quality Scale in Ahmedabad: A study of Private Sector Retail Banks based on the SERVQUAL Model’ at the ‘Indian Retail Conference’ organized by Ambedkar University, Delhi, February 2016.

Co-authored a paper titled ‘Service Quality Measurement in Unorganized Retail Stores: Implications for Marketing Strategies using SERVQUAL and RSQS’ published in the ‘ICMC’ conference proceedings book, February 2016 issue. ISBN No. – 978-93-5254-804-0.

Co-authored a paper titled ‘Bottom of the Pyramid: A study of the Consumer Behavior towards self-service technologies in the Banking Sector’ published in the ‘Indian Journal of Applied Research’, March 2013 issue. ISSN – 2249-555X.

November 2016 co-authored case with teaching notes published with The Case Centre, Cranfield University: Bhai Prahladhji Ladhaji: Exploring strategic direction and business models.

He has been engaging students from various undergraduate and post-graduate programmes since 2008. Currently his teaching interests include subjects of Marketing and Strategic Management. He also engages classes on specialisation courses of Marketing.

He has successfully developed and implemented a Project Based Learning (PBL) course at Amrut Mody School of Management called Modeling Service Quality. At Ahmedabad University PBL courses come under ENABLE, which is our original pedagogy. ENABLE stands for Engagement and Application Based Learning and Education.
