Mr. Abhishek Shah is in the academic arena for more than 17 years and has taught various courses in Accouting at undegraduate and postgraduate level. He has also shouldered many administrative responsibilities and currently the Chair of the Examination Committee of Amrut Mody School of Management.

Mr. Shah has research interest in the area of health insurance which is also his research area for his PhD.

  • Published a research paper entitled “Analysis of Growth Indicators of Health Insurance in India” in Research Matrix International Multidisciplinary Journal of Applied Research, Issue 7, February, 2017, pp. 1-9.
  • Published a research paper entitled “Growth of Health Insurance Sector Post Liberalisation in India” in the International Journal of Research and Scientific Innovation, Vol. IV Issue: I, December, 2016, pp. 354-362.
  • Published a research paper entitled “Business Responsibility Report – A Comparative Study of Selected Personal Care Consumer Products Vs. Automobile Companies of India” in the International Journal of Research and Scientific Innovation 2014 -IJRSI Online Journal (ISSN:2321-2705), Page Nos. 593 – 605, Volume I, Issue VIII, November, 2014.
  • Published a research paper entitled “Convergence of Ind AS with IFRS : A long way to go” in the book “Financial reporting and Tax Planning” (ISBN: 978-81-928180-0-9) at the UGC Sponsored National level Conference organised by M.. P. Arts and M. H. Commerce College for women on September 15, 2013.

CMA Prof. Shah has a rich teaching experience of more than 17 years during which he has taught variety of courses in Accounting especially Corporate and Cost Accounting at various levels. 


Mr. Shah is Cost and Management Accountant from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and currently is an Associate Member of the ICAI.

He is also a Life Member of Indian Accounting Association and Ahmedabad Management Association.
