Professor Bhawnath Tiwari completed his PhD in Micro Robotics and Automation from the University of Bourgogne Franche Comté, France. He worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, USA. He participated in several research activities during his stint with Roberval Laboratory, University of Technology of Compiègne, France, and the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg.

Professor Bhawnath Tiwari's research interest is focused on Mechatronics. He has worked on the development of instrumented micro robotic systems to address the need for precise micro-assembly in the industrial context. Recently, he has also been part of various research activities regarding the development of health assistive devices, including dealing with cancer diagnosis, heart assistive devices, and care of diabetic foot against ulceration.
