Chaitali completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Gujarat University and Masters from CEPT University. She is presently employed as Assistant Professor at The Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), Baroda and pursuing her PhD at Ahmedabad University. She is also a principal Architect at Artosphere Studio. She is a member of the Institute of Indian Interior Design (IIID) and Indian Institute of Architects (IIA). During her initial years, she was a visiting faculty at SVIT, Vasad. She is more inclined working towards Air Pollution problems and its environmental impacts relating to urban and rural areas. Her area of interest is sustainability and co-benefits analysis, wellbeing, climatic parameters and their effect in urban areas, adaptation and mitigation policies. Her ultimate goal revolves around the idea of making cities more sustainable, healthier and habitable spaces to live in this environment.
