Language Lab

Language Lab is specially designed for students learning English as a Second Language. We work with Instructor Led Training and Computer Based Training methods followed by practice session and evaluation. Digital learning is supplemented by an instructor who is available to guide the student in the practice sessions. The programme is tailored to the needs of undergraduate and graduate students and is designed to run parallel to an academic course in communication skills and writing.

The course is structured in three levels. These levels meet the language skill benchmark set by Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages for Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced level of language competency.  Alongside basic vocabulary and conversational skills the programme also allows students to learn through role-play or speech-giving and other soft skills such as email etiquette, resume writing, interview skills and group discussions. This course trains students in pronunciation and basic Phonetics helping them articulate better. We focus on extensive listening and speaking sessions as also offers grammar exercises. Language skills are upgraded in this programme from A1 to C2 level over an eight module course.
