Professor Aasheesh Dixit was born and brought up in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. He is a chemical engineer with almost two years of experience in Reliance Industries, Jamnagar, where he worked as operations manager in the largest refinery of world. Later, he pursued his PhD from IIM Lucknow in the area of operations management. In his free time he loves playing outdoor games like cricket, squash and swimming. His hobbies also include chess. Professor Dixit will be joining the Amrut Mody School of Management as Assistant Professor in July 2021. 

Professor Dixit’s research interests lie in application of mechanism design, game theory concepts in aviation sector and modeling problems related to the aviation sector. He enjoys working with individuals on similar lines.
