Ahmedabad University Library offers various services and facilities to support research and education.
Library has institutional membership with the following institutes to provide enhanced support to its users. Through this membership library get services like access to institutional publications, Document delivery service, library online resource access, interlibrary loans, etc. Details may be obtained by writing to [email protected].
All the alumni of Ahmedabad University are eligible to become library members. Members may consult reference resources within the library premises. They can also use online databases, full-text and statistical database within the library premises during their membership period. Alumni members will not be entitled to access databases remotely. Library offers lending service to the faculty members, students and staff members of Ahmedabad University. They are the prime users of the library, and do not have to pay any fee to register and use the services. On joining the university, their library membership is registered and login credentials of library OPAC and RemoteX facility will be provided by library.
Document Delivery Services (DDS) makes available for the article(s) which are not available in the library. The articles are borrowed from other network libraries. The service can be availed by Faculties, researchers and staff who need material for academic and research purpose or course-related assignment. Members are requested to send their articles requirement (with proper bibliographic details) through e-mail to [email protected].

Ahmedabad University Library System conducts three kinds of Information Literacy Programme to its users
Inter-library Loan (ILL) is to facilitate the users for the book(s) which are not available in the library. The books are borrowed from other network libraries. Ahmedabad University Library System periodically generates a list of newly added resources to the collection. The list is arranged under broad subject headings and sent to the user community over the email.
Library displays cover page and other important news clippings of the other newspapers subscribed by University Library System on the display board kept outside the library.
Library offers customised services to assist students, faculty, researchers and staff in locating the required information through the information sources accessible to library.
Table of Content (TOC) is an article alert service from the library. Through this service, the library highlights some of the interesting articles appearing in the online journal for which the Library has access.
